Imagination beyond the ordinary
West Virginia has long been known as Wild & Wonderful. Now we want to discover just how wildly wonderful the imaginations of its fine artists can be!
EXHIBITIONS Art Gallery invites West Virginia fine artists to submit extraordinary imaginative artwork for our inaugural online juried exhibition celebrating creativity across the Mountain State.
We're looking for work that surprises, inspires, challenges expectations, and transports viewers beyond the ordinary.
Fantasy, science fiction, surrealism, magical realism, and visionary art are especially encouraged, but all imaginative fine-art approaches will be considered.

Exhibition rules
- Open to West Virginia fine artists.
- Original fine art in painting, drawing, digital art, sculpture, fiber art, mixed media, printmaking, photography, ceramics and other fine-art disciplines.
- Entry fee: $5 per artwork submitted.
- Maximum three artwork entries per artist; maximum total fee: $15.
- Approximately 30 artworks will be selected, with up to 50 permitted at the curator's discretion. No more than one artwork per artist will be selected.
- Selected artists will receive online exhibition exposure and links to their artist websites.
- Selection is determined by juror and curator David F. Heatwole.
- Submission does not guarantee acceptance.

A separate People’s Choice Award will be determined through registered WestVirginiaArts.com member voting after the exhibition opens.
